Disappointing
Close to major routes. Good location for university. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff.
Shower was just about warm. Breakfast below average. By the time we ate at 8.30 there were no croissants and everything else was drying up. Accessible room allocated to us had a bathroom was not suitable for us. Asked to change but hotel was fully booked. Toilet didn’t flush properly. Booked a twin room but beds were two singles made up separately but pushed together. Wasn’t possible to have them separate due to the shelf either side of the beds. Car park was poorly lit. We were two females and arrived in the dark. As the car park was so busy we had to park right round the back. Asked for a quiet room in booking but given one outside the door to the stairs! Noise was constant until late at night and from early morning.

Comfy bed
Cold plates left for english breakfast, which cooled the breakfast right away. Staff conspicuous by their absence . No one around to take orders for hot drinks. When order was finally given to waitress, she only brought one hot drink, one was completely forgotten along with toast. There were only 3 tables occupied!! I had to eat my breakfast quickly before it was completely cold. Eventually, after waiting by kitchen door for the waitress, I was brought coffee, but forgot the toast again!! No apology at all. All sounds petty, but when you pay for a service I expect to receive it..

Okay but a very tired hotel!
Staff were pleasant. Room clean and comfortable bed.
Very tatty hotel, could do with a refurb sooner rather than later. Even new carpets in the corridors and bedrooms would make it nicer! Could also do with painting as stains on ceilings and would make the hotel smell better.

Great room- thanks for the upgrade. Staff excellent- especially the young lady who served our breakfast. Great place to stay
Towels and robe provided but only for one person. Room smelt a little stale, but we were able to open the windows to get some fresh air
